TMSI Present Visual Inspection system at tire Industry Summit

The 7th China Rubber Industry Innovation and Tire Evaluation Intelligent Development Technology Seminar was grandly held from May 19th to 21st, 2025. TMSI was invited to give a present it’s solution for "Tire Profile Measurement and Wear and Tear Experimental Analysis", systematically demonstrating the application of non-contact 3D scanning technology in tire testing, which has attracted deep attention from the industry.

Tony Li, General Manager of TMSI's Vision Division, shared insights on tire contour scanning and analysis technology. This technology breaks through the bottleneck of traditional testing. Its core advantages are reflected in the following three dimensions:

Peripheral Dimensions measurement and tread wear analysis

1. High precision data collection and global coverage

The single tire data collection volume reaches 80 million to 120 million points, with an accuracy of micrometer level, covering the spatial position of all visible parts on the tire surface.

2. Intelligent multidimensional analysis system

The system can meet the requirements of different testing standards such as profile testing and wear analysis,etc.

3. Data visualization presentation

By fitting professional analysis software with a three-dimensional digital model, users can visually analyze tire data and locate defect features through functions such as Partial Zoom and color level adjustment.
